Check out our size guide on the second picture in the listing! Don’t worry too much about getting the sizing exactly correct. The harness is adjustable at both the neck and chest so you can find your buddy’s ideal fit!
Will the LightHound work in cold weather, snow, rain?
The LightHound is safe to use in rain or snow (some customers have used it to -50 degrees!). It just should not be submerged, so no swimming. The light portion can be easily removed on the spot to allow your dog to swim!
Can the LightHound handle my strong, high-energy dog?
The fabric is exceptionally strong CORDURA nylon with high-strength, reinforced stitching so it’s made for rolling and playing. The harness is pull tested for 300 lbs of force!
How do I clean the LightHound?
The light component is easily removable so that the harness material can be machine washed! Air dry for best results.

Don't like the super long straps
I had high hopes for this harness. Then it arrived and I apprehensively thought it would be too much for my dog’s 12 pound body. I absolutely love it! Once it’s sized, it’s easy to put on and take off. It lights up different colors with solid or blinking light. I can see my dog anywhere in my 1/2 acre wooded yard at night. I absolutely recommend this lighted harness!
Harness is great. After a long time, I noticed the little attachment screw/washer deal (flat, towards dog, on inside, beneath the light pack) was getting loose. I didn't do anything about it so of course it eventually unscrewed and fell off. Well, that's what was holding the light pack on...If you wanted to remove the light pack and wash the harness separately, that's the bit you'd disassemble. If you want the light pack to stay on, check on it every once in a while.The reflective strips and minimal, effective design of the harness are such that we've kept using it even without the light pack. But a year or so on, I want my lights back; no other products seem to compare, so I'm satisfied buying a replacement.The harness never got that dirty anyway (this dog isn't particularly greasy or yeasty) so this time around I think I'll try some locktite on the fastener.
I liked the good fit and easy adjustment for my 30 pound mountain Feist. In the woods early in the morning late afternoon every day great visibility. I’m not a big fan of the multicolored disco lights and the different shades of color, we like red. But this feature may Appeal to other dog owners. Also charges very easiy when needed. On the downside It’s a little pricey as most things are these days. Overall, very satisfied and would buy again.
The size is fantastic. It’s always hard to find products that fit my Great Dane. This fits my Dane perfect and has room to spare!The light is bright and easy to see. It is great quality. Would definitely recommend this product.
